Using SavorVault

SavorVault gives you tools to organize and access your own recipes. You’re responsible for the content you add (recipes, notes, photos) and for keeping your account credentials secure.

Your content

You own the recipes and content you create in SavorVault. We only use it to provide the service to you — displaying and syncing it across your own devices and this website. SavorVault is a private, personal recipe log: we don’t publish your content or make it visible to other users or the public.

You’re responsible for making sure you have the right to save whatever you add — whether it’s a recipe you wrote yourself, a family recipe, or one you photograph, type in, or paste from somewhere else for your own private reference. When a recipe isn’t originally yours, please use the “Credit” field when you save it to note where it came from (a person, cookbook, or site) — this applies to manual entries and photographed recipe cards just as much as recipes imported from a web link.

Copyright and attribution concerns

If you believe content saved by a SavorVault user infringes your copyright or other rights, contact us at the address on our Support page with a description of the content and your claim, and we’ll look into it promptly. Because SavorVault is a private log rather than a publishing platform, content saved by a user is visible only to that user — this section will be updated if a future sharing feature changes that.

Subscriptions

SavorVault offers a free tier and paid Plus/Pro subscription tiers with additional features. Subscription purchases, where available, are billed and managed through the app store you purchased from.

Acceptable use

Don’t use SavorVault to store or share content that is illegal, infringes on someone else’s rights, or attempts to disrupt or abuse the service.

Termination

You may stop using SavorVault and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer

SavorVault is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We aren’t responsible for the accuracy of recipes you or others save, or for whether content you save infringes someone else’s rights. You agree to indemnify and hold SavorVault harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you save to your account.

Nutrition figures (calories, protein, carbohydrate, and fat) are estimates calculated from a recipe’s ingredients and may differ from the actual food. They’re for general information only and aren’t dietary, medical, or health advice; don’t rely on them for medical conditions, allergies, or specific dietary needs.

This is a plain-language starting draft — have it reviewed by a lawyer before relying on it as your final terms.
